The Interrogation is part of a narrative series titled Shadows of Intrigue, and is presented as an exhibition in Botanicar, Zagreb. It is the key drawing which presents all the suspects and the detective holding the murder weapon. In the drawing, one can find many references, such as Jasper, the somewhat ominous dog from the Hitchcock adaptation of Rebecca, the fresca along the ceiling refers to Rupert Bunny's Fresca (1921). The patterns on the wallpaper and furniture follow the Victorian flower language and give clues as to the suspects feelings and motivations.
